WoW Forever Dungeons: All 9 New Dungeons and Their Level Ranges

World of Warcraft: Forever adds nine brand-new dungeons across the levelling range. They sit alongside the original dungeons you already know, so there’s a fresh option at almost every stage of levelling.

Dungeon list

Dungeon	Level range	Notes
Hall of Thanes	13–18	Beneath Ironforge. Playable from beta week one.
Ruins of Lordaeron	15–20	Playable from beta week one.
Excavation Site: Wetlands	26–31	Above Whelgar’s Excavation in the Wetlands. Moved from 24–29 in the 1 Oct beta patch.
City of Dalaran	28–33	Dalaran, in the Alterac Mountains
The Drowned City	35–40
Krol’dok Stronghold	40–45
Alcaz Prison	48–53
Blackmaw Hold	55–60
Shaper’s Terrace	58–60	Endgame dungeon

Level ranges are from the beta and may shift before launch.

Levelling route

If you’re dungeon-levelling, a rough Forever-only path looks like this:

1. 13–20: Hall of Thanes, then Ruins of Lordaeron
2. 26–33: Excavation Site: Wetlands, then City of Dalaran
3. 35–45: The Drowned City, then Krol’dok Stronghold
4. 48–60: Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold, then Shaper’s Terrace at cap

Mix in the original dungeons (Deadmines, Scarlet Monastery, Zul’Farrak and so on) wherever the new ones leave gaps.

We’ll publish full boss, loot and quest guides for each dungeon as they’re tested. Any item we link will show a tooltip when you hover it.
