Hearthstone: How To Kill Baron Geddon on Heroic

This is an annoying boss with a lot of damage. Now that the second wing is open and hopefully you have killed Garr, it’s time to face Baron Geddon himself!

The Boss

Baron Geddon is a hard heroic boss, you have to plan your mana curve and deal with living bombs, it will no doubt take more than one try, stick with this deck and you will get him down. His hero power deals 10 damage to your hero if you have any mana crystals left. He also has a spell which casts living bomb on a target creature which deals 10 damage to all your stuff, hero too.

The Deck

The key to this deck is creating a nice mana curve for you to be able to dodge his hero power for as many turns as possible and also draw enough cards to keep the pressure on him. It also runs a Ysera to get even more cards to make sure you keep dodging his hero power. It also runs 2 Ironbeak Owls and 2 Spellbreakers, I used these to silence the living bomb, which made this fight a lot easier, also they fit nicely into the mana curve which is useful.

You will want to try and slowly build up a board presence whilst controlling the board. This fight is difficult and you will want to buff up your Frothing Berserkers and Gurubashi Berserkers to be able to finish him off. Remember to try and build up as much armour as possible, it’s possible to build up enough armour to take 4 hits of his hero power which is a big deal (20hp and 20 armour).

Mulligan

I had more success by searching for one drops at the beginning of the fight. If you can mulligan for a one drop, 3 drop and a 4 drop then you are in good shape. You will need to make sure that you try and get out some Acolytes of Pain and Shield Blocks to draw cards and delay his hero power hitting you in the face.

Finishers

The finishers come from Frothing Berserker, Gurubashi Berserker, Ysera Cards and Molten Giant.

Rewards

On heroic you won’t recieve any rewards until you have completed all of Blackrock Mountain heroic, then you will recieve a card back.
