WoW Forever Transmog: Sheathe Your Weapon on Your Back or Side

By CagenUpdated

Weapon sheathing is now a transmog option in the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. You can choose whether a weapon sits on your back, on your side, or is hidden when put away.

Beta information, as of 7 October 2026. Tested on the beta by Cagen on 7 October 2026. The option may change before launch on 4 November.

How to change it

  1. Visit the transmog NPC, Fyrenz Vishonar (the Transmogrifier). Our screenshot shows the name spelled this way.
  2. Choose the option to change the appearance of your equipment.
  3. Click your weapon.
  4. Look at the options in the bottom right. It shows Default Sheathing until you change it.
  5. Pick a sheathing style, then click Save Outfit in the bottom left.
