WoW Forever Lore Forever: Narrated Story & Lore Addon

How it works

Open the panel by pressing your Lore Forever key, clicking the book on your minimap, or typing /lore. The left side shows the story of your zone and subzone, your target and your quests. The right side is a conversation you can keep going: ask a question and every answer offers follow-up questions.

What it does

• Narrated stories: zone, capital and dungeon stories, dungeon bosses, answers, places and people are read in recorded voices.
• Ask in plain English: try “Who is Edwin VanCleef?”, “Why is Westfall so poor?” or “What happened to Moonbrook?”. Suggestions appear as you type.
• Knows where you are: suggestions follow your zone, subzone, target and quest log.
• Lore on your tooltips: NPCs and mobs get a one-line story, and items tell you when one of your quests needs them.
• Quest givers speak, and a Lore button on the quest dialog and quest log tells the story behind the quest.
• Dungeon primers for the dungeons it covers.

Coverage

According to the CurseForge page, Lore Forever covers every zone, city and dungeon a WoW Forever player can reach up to level 30 (quests, NPCs, places and bosses), plus Zephras Isle and the Skyborne, the Hall of Thanes, the Ruins of Lordaeron, and place lore for the rest of the world.

Recorded narration covers selected zone stories, dungeon bosses, answers, places and people. Entries without a recording stay available as text. Recorded quest dialogue is currently in English and German, and coverage is partial.

Languages and voices

Lore Forever supports English, Deutsch, Español (España), Français and Português (Brasil). It follows your WoW client’s language, or you can pick one in Options under Language (or type /lore lang).

• English male narration is included with the addon.
• Translated text and recordings are separate language downloads. Choose a narration pack for Deutsch, Español (España), Français or Português (Brasil); each language’s voice download includes its matching translated text pack.
• More narrators are optional: the female narrator, German male and female narrators, and Portuguese (Brasil) male and female narrators are separate CurseForge projects, as are the male and female Quest Dialogue packs. Install as many as you like and order them in Options under Narration voices.
• The female narrator’s story bundle contains her core, Alliance lands and Horde lands packs. Her Place Answers, Lore Answers, People Answers and Quest Answers (Part 1) packs are separate downloads.

For manual installs, unzip a voice pack into Interface\AddOns next to the LoreForever folder, type /reload, and choose it in Options under Narration voices. Recording coverage varies, and more recordings arrive with updates.
