WoW Forever Hotfixes: November 6 Class, Dungeon & Quest Fixes
Blizzard posted a second round of WoW: Forever hotfixes on 6 November, covering classes, dungeons, quests and a Leatherworking tweak.
Classes
| Class | Fix |
|---|---|
| Druid | Bloom now correctly heals the target. Tooltips for Bear Form (wrong health value), Ravage (wrong damage value) and Swiftmend were corrected. Ravage damage itself was not changed. |
| Mage | Mages no longer learn the Research spell and lose it on relog; you should only have Study after the relevant quest. Arcane Blast duration is now properly 18 seconds. |
| Rogue | Shank now shows Rank 1 and Rank 2 in tooltips, and shows the right Combo Points when Boot Knife is talented. |
| Warlock | Voidwalker base health up by about 40 at all levels. Soul Siphon no longer makes Wrack increase its own damage. |
| Warrior | Reckless Swings tooltip now mentions that it activates Gore Drinker. |
| Legacy talents | The Quick and the Dead now works as intended. |
The Cooldown Manager now always shows the duration of crowd control spells, even with diminishing returns or reductions such as the orc stun reduction.
Night Elf Druids using Shadowmeld no longer get access to Ravage and Pounce. For Orcs, some Warlock pet abilities were benefitting too much from Command, which Blizzard fixed. See our racials and Shaman pages for other class notes.
Dungeons
- Maraudon: Zaetar’s Spirit now spawns after Princess Theradras is defeated.
- Blackmaw Hold and The Drowned City: creatures no longer erroneously disengage in some cases.
- The Drowned City: the instance portal now teleports you inside.
- Ruins of Lordaeron: the Abominable Head dropped by The Baron now offers “Unending Torment” to Horde players at level 15 (was 16). See Ruins of Lordaeron.
Quests, NPCs and items
- “Vorsha the Lasher” no longer lashes everyone in the zone.
- “The Sleeper Has Awakened”: Kerlonian Evershade should fall asleep less often, and players now start with a Horn of Awakening.
- “Rough Wolf Pelts” is cancelled automatically if you unlearn Skinning.
- “Rediscovering the Light” (healing NPCs), “Ammo for Rumbleshot” (loot visibility) and shared Riverglades quest drops were fixed. “Never Saddle on Quality” spawns and drops are more plentiful, and the Damp Note drop rate is up.
- Ridgeshade Lurkers (Durotar) and Krek the Noxious (Riverglades) now have loot. Pelluk in Swamp of Sorrows should spawn reliably, and Grol’bolar Quarry troggs (Dun Morogh) no longer respawn too quickly.
- Teldrassil’s Lasher Sproutlings, Blooming Lashers and Wrathvine were wrongly immune to nature damage; that is fixed.
- Searing Dagger now only procs from spells with a damaging component.
Professions and world
Leatherworking’s Tanning Rack skill requirement drops to 125 (was 140), with skill-ups lowered by 15 points, so it no longer blocks patterns needing 125 skill. See Professions.
Blizzard also improved visibility of other players and their targets over large distances, and fixed the dark Thunder Bluff Barbershop.
