WoW Forever Shaman: Level 30 Weapon Quest Chain Made Easier
A Shaman-only quest chain at level 30 rewards strong weapons in the WoW Forever beta, and a recent build made it quicker. The route below comes from a player report passed on by Wowhead, not from Blizzard, so details may change.
The chain (player report)
Per Wowhead, which relays a post from Reddit user MrPhage1, the chain comes straight after the Wind Totem quest:
- Elemental Aid: loot the last boss of Razorfen Kraul, Charlga Razorflank.
- Storm, Earth, and Fire: collect 20 totems across Azeroth, including Dustwallow Marsh, Desolace, Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands.
- Heed My Call: defeat level 40 elites in Thousand Needles, in waves of Elemental and Quilltusk enemies.
- The Tempest’s Weapons: hand in to Bath’rah the Windwatcher in the Alterac Mountains.
Rewards listed are Lightning’s Grasp, Tidebringer’s Claw or Rage of the Storm (including fist weapons and a two-handed mace), with Elementalist’s Guard as an extra reward.
What got easier
Wowhead lists these changes from the 8 October build for “Storm, Earth, and Fire” and “Heed My Call”:
- The needed creatures respawn faster and drop their twisted totems more often.
- Maraudine Scouts now drop Twisted Air Totems, Ongeku can drop a Twisted Earth Totem, and Murdaloc can drop a Twisted Fire Totem.
- Twisted Fire Totems can also come from Dustbelcher ogres in the Badlands. Larger camps such as Dustbelch Grotto respawn faster; smaller ones don’t.
- The Eye of the Tempest for “Heed My Call” is now multi-drop.
Blizzard’s 8 October development notes also mention fixes to “Storm, Earth, and Fire” map markers. For the full class see our Shaman guide. For the rest of the changes see class changes and our 8 October patch notes summary.
