Skyborne Race Guide: Classes, Factions & Zephras Isle
The Skyborne are World of Warcraft: Forever’s new playable race, and the first race that can join either the Alliance or the Horde. You choose your faction at character creation, and that choice changes which classes you can play.

Alliance Skyborne draw on the arcane legacy of their ancestors, which is why they get Mage. Horde Skyborne follow elemental traditions, which is why they get Shaman.
Starting zone: Zephras Isle
Skyborne start on Zephras Isle, a dedicated levels 1–12 zone. After that they join the wider world.
