Computer just shut off

I was using my computer one day and all of a sudden the screen went blank, and it won’t turn back on. I have unplugged everything and plugged it back in, still doesn’t work.

 

Can you help me?

Only thing I can suggest is to leave it switched off for a long time with everything unplugged completely, sometimes this can help. Otherwise take it to a local computer shop.

It has been unplugged from everything for like a month now. Should I try it again and see what happens, or would that just make the problem worse?

There isn’t a lot you can do to a system that has completely gone off.

You could either try replacing the power supply if you are more confident with pc hardware or I would just take it to a local store to have a look at for you.

I think I may actually just have to get a new computer. That computer actually lasted very long anyways, it is quite old.
