This would be a great time for Blizzard to release Diablo 3… but does it even hold any weight? There is rumours going around and people are hoping that this is the real release date. If it is then it would of been a shock to people when it was announced.
Usually release dates are not as close to the announcement as we would assume this would be (if it was indeed true).
An interesting twitter message from Jay Wilson: https://twitter.com/#!/Angryrobotics/status/176116505023488001. Unfortunately if you read the message without reading the question then it sounds very likely it would be April the 17th. The Question was: “can you debunk the rumor of april 17th or confirm?” and the answer was “I cannot debunk or confirm.”, effectively saying I can not comment on a release date.
So we sit and wait patiently for a guaranteed release date, although the appearence of the game on Amazon gives us a glimmer of hope at the april release.

Does anyone else have any plans on booking some time off work to play this game? Or am I the only one sad enough to do that….
