So as usual I log into my battle.net account to see if I have been lucky enough to gain access to the beta. Today I logged in and what I saw was something very different! (Yes, I did get excited and thought it was the actual beta).
It was not access to the beta, but the Diablo III icon under game accounts was lit up and I could click through to a page saying “Active”. I am hoping this is a sign of an imminent release date or announcement. (Download not yet available though /sadface).
They clearly have the account management process all up and working ready for launch, which in itself is a pretty cool sign!

After clicking on that link, I got a cool little screen of the Diablo III account management page.
Pretty exciting news, this means everything is ready for the game to launch. How ready is yet to be revealed. It would be great to get a release day early in Q2, we can dream can’t we? If you have got the same on your account let us know in the comments below.
