Hey guys, check out this quick post about Diablo 3 details, here is a quick overview of some of the different types of achievements.
Achievements
- Attend Blizzcon 2011
- Progress through the game
- Extreme Behavior (??)
- Absurd Shenanigans (Like fighting the whole game with no armour)
- Achievements unlock banners
You can get some awesome items, there is quite a few already talked about by the Diablo 3 team, they all add utility and game convenience rather than adding power or strength to your character.
Crafting
- Makes your current items even more awesome
Mystic
- Visit the mystic to enhance items
- Enhancements stats are random
- Aberrant Builds
- The mystic levels up, which can provide better enhancements (Uses pages of training)
The Jeweller
- Can combine gems
- Gems can be socketed which gives you different properties
- Can add sockets to items
- Removes gems from items (You keep the gem)
- Jeweller levels up as well (Uses pages of training)
The Blacksmith
- Can forge items
- Can craft items
- Can craft legendary and unit set items (Take the plan to blacksmith)
- One unique plan can create the whole set (Need materials)
You can also salvage items which gives you components, or trade the item. Those items look great, especially the bright colored crossbow in the middle of the image.
Diablo 3 Auction House
Trading in Diablo 2 was not that great it did have a trade system if you found someone who wanted your item. You could of checked the forums or the chat channels but this took a lot of time. So this is where the auction house comes in to take over the trading and allow people to effectively trade through the auction. You can also almost trade pretty much anything inside the auction house, which can be done with gold or real money. Free participation can be done with Diablo 3.
You can generate income by selling weapons and armour you find, you can also gain real life money from Diablo 3 by selling items. What else you can do is send out your real life money to paypal and make the money in real life, seems awesome for people who love playing games.
There is a lot of discussion around the Auction House but personally I think it is a great way for people to be able to reward them selves for playing the game. Sometimes you think… Ok I have destroyed everything known to man but I want something back, well here it is real life money from the auction house.
