What is League of Legends?
League of Legends (LoL) is a very much like DotA. It is a game with numerous different champions, you select one and load in with your team who face an identical number of opposing champions. Each start at opposite ends of the map. The aim is to get to the enemies starting position and destroy their base.
On the map is three lanes each leading to the enemy base, between these lanes is jungle land which has entwined paths through it. In each lane is a wave of minions which work their way towards the opposing team and meet in the middle automatically fighting each other. There is also three towers per team down each lane which do a heavy amount of damage.
The minor aims to the game is to level up and become more powerful than the enemy team so you can kill them, their towers and finally their base.
What does LoL cost?
LoL is completely free, you earn points by playing the game which can be used to by new champions. If you want to get champions quicker or different looks (skins) for your champion then you can purchase Riot Points, but essentially the whole game is free.

Our Opinion
League of Legends is a great game if you enjoy playing with friends, destroying in pvp, micro and even to some extent macro.
We personally play in a small team and really enjoy this game a lot. It is fast paced and very exciting, it is a limited game but if you enjoy what it has to offer you will enjoy it a lot!
Although the maps are limited, 5v5, 3v3 and Dominion there is a huge amount of 
champions for you to try and perfect. The champions are often excellent and even comical in certain areas.
We would recommend this game to a team of people over a solo player but believe you will enjoy it either way. This game is not recommended for people who love getting into a story even if there is lore it does not involve you greatly in the game.
