With MoP being introduced you can now see a few details on the PvE Scenarios for PvE players, it looks to be increasing the progressing of your character whilst also introducing a lot of cool content to get leveling up.

Short Instances For A Few Players
This is looking to be great to allow people to do instances quicker and funner. This might mean solo dungeons? We are not sure at this time but it would be awesome if it was solo or even duo dungeons.

The problem with solo or duo dungeons is that some classes would benefit highly and some might not even be able to do it at all, like a holy priest. It is almost 100% likely we will not see solo or duo dungeons, but maybe 3 or 4 player dungeons. I believe the focus is on short rather than few players though.

Staged Experience
This will be along the lines of “Defend Goldshire” which will have some sort of kobolds attacking which you will need to defend, plus a side experience of needing to help all of the children in Goldshire back to Stormwind or something like that.

These staged experiences will be much like guild wars, which do look really awesome I am hoping they look as awesome as they did during the blizzcon videos.

PvE Battlegrounds
This will mean battlegrounds that are fast and 100% PvE to allow people to get into some battleground modes whilst not being harassed by the enemy faction. For example you could see maybe 15 men needing to move throughout a large open area, destroying towers then lieutenants and finally overcoming lots of small objectives to fight the final battleground boss.  Check out the image below.

Challenge Mode Dungeons

  • This is going to be a huge benefit to the World Of Warcraft game.
  • You will need to complete a dungeon in a certain number of minutes.
  • Earn Bronze, Silver and Gold.
  • Gear levels are normalized.
  • Reward sweet looking gear with no stats.
  • Plus you get Valor Points.

There were some worries around the Challenge Modes. One was that they are going to normalize everyones gear on entering the challenge modes. People voiced their concerns over losing say 5% of hitcap which would reduce their DPS significantly. The developers did say all of the small details would need to be thought about especially in regards to hitcap.

Also it was mentioned they could just ramp up the mobs inside the challenge modes rather than ramp the gear down. This would be an excellent way to get around the hit cap but I am sure it brings up further issues for the devs.
